Kings View Chambers represented a HCPC registered Occupational Therapist in a case involving a breach of professional boundaries and dishonesty.

Speaking about the case, barrister Catherine Stock commented that:

“This case demonstrated how easy it can be even for an experienced professional to breach a professional boundary even with the best of intentions and as a result fall foul of their profession’s standards.

“This case also highlighted the importance of making sure you really understand what the HCPC’s case is against you.”

After successfully defending our client in their fitness to practise case, Catherine said:

“This case also highlighted the important of working with us early, particularly in terms of being able to understand and in turn have the ability to verbalise in a hearing insight and remediation.”
