The case concluded with a Conditions of Practise Order that was workable for our client and they were very pleased with the outcome.

The case involved allegations dating back a number of years.  Our client’s circumstances were unfortunately not uncommon for Social Work England (SWE), as they have a significant backlog.

A number of allegations were dropped by SWE Case Examiners following our submissions.  The only remaining matters left were those allegations that had been admitted.

Fitness to Practise defence Barrister, Catherine Stock, said:

“The case concluded with a Conditions of Practise Order that was workable for our client and she was very pleased with the outcome.

“If you are a Social Worker and have been offered an Accepted Disposal by Social Work England, contact us before you accept or reject any such offer for advice.”

Our client, WM, said:

“I contacted Catherine once I had been informed that Social Work England was conducting an investigation.

“Catherine was always on the ball, and was clear & consistent with her advice. She made me feel very well-supported over the past couple of months, which has been a difficult period for me.

“Her knowledge and expertise is exemplary and she always went above and beyond to ensure the best outcome was achieved. I would not hesitate in recommending her to any professional facing FTP issues.”
